Very good costume.My Grandson wore it at the book day at his school.It looked really good.Although we had to buy the glasses as an extra.You get what you pay for!!

Surprisingly enough, I bought this to use as fancy dress for an 80s costume this weekend. I was undecided as to whether I was going to go as Grange Hill's Mr Bronson or a rather ample-chested female 80s trend-setter(I've got the sort of face, figure and acting ability that could carry off either one of those with equal aplomb), but when I actually saw the quality of this jewellery set, my mind was made up. Any excuse to model a pair of earrings, that's me.
The actual components are 'heavy', which I was pleasantly surprised by. They're made of plastic and some fairly soft metal, but they don't feel 'cheap' in any way. The earrings are lovely - you won't feel alone while wearing them that's for sure. The clasp is refreshingly gentle; In my experience, clip-on earrings tend to clamp themselves shut like steel traps, cutting off the circulation to your earlobes in the process. Ordered this and it arrived with the sword snapped clean in two. Seller was excellent in sending out a free replacement set, and this time they posted it inside a box so it arrived in one piece. But my son played with it for 2 hours before the second sword snapped too. So I would say this set is a one-time kit for a fancy dress party and no more. I ordered these as I was planning on baking some Halloween themed cupcakes.
I was very pleased with the quality of the cases; they aren't to thin and papery, nor are they too thick and card-like. They are nice and large, more muffin-sized than typical cupcake size but I prefer larger cupcakes so these were ideal.
Most importantly, the colours didn't run or fade once baked and the pattern remained very clear; this was very impressive considering I was baking with chocolate sponge which had been coloured black.
I highly recommend these items or other cases made by Classikool.Poor
